The Computer Support Unit (CSU) is a group within the Student Life department and is a geographically organized technical support unit designed to provide computer desktop, server and network support for Student Life employees, departments and on-site Contractors. There is one CSU providing support for the Student Life departments, remote sites and the Food Service Contract.
The CSU supports UNM Student Life departments on main campus and its’ remote site customers. Primary support is for “Wintel” (Windows/Intel) personal computers, generally referred to as PCs, and is designated support for the Food Service Contract based computer systems, server and networks that may not be generally considered typical PC type systems.
To obtain service for all computing needs, contact the CSU Help Desk at 505-277-3200 or submit a help ticket online. A Help Desk analyst will attempt to provide assistance over the phone, or in certain cases and with your permission, via remote assistance technology over the network. If you require further service, the analyst will send an electronic request ticket to a CSU Computer Support Technician or other appropriate service providers, (ITS, CNS, etc.). |
